Hanging your Patent Plaque
- When hanging your patent plaque use only one keyhole based on the orientation of the artwork. Refer to the images below to help determine orientation.
- We recommend using a 1.5" #8 coarse thread flat head screw for the best results when hanging on drywall. If the screw is not being placed into a stud behind the drywall, we recommend using a self drilling drywall anchor for increased strength. The screw and drywall anchor can be found at your local hardware store. When hanging your plaque on any other type of wall (Brick, Stone, Etc), it would be best to consult your local hardware store for details as necessary hardware and tools can vary greatly.
- With the screw in the wall, place the rounded end of the keyhole opening onto the screw. Slide your plaque in the opposite direction to the center of the keyhole. Minor adjustments may be needed to level out the plaque.
