Your privacy is guaranteed. We will not give, lease or sell your personal information. Period!

Use of Information

Patent Awards only collects personal information about you that you provide during the ordering process. We do keep your name, address, e-mail address, phone number and products ordered on file in a secure database - but we never share this information with anyone. We do not store your credit card number. We actually never see the credit card number you provide during the online ordering process. See the security section of this page for more information.

Cookies

Patent Awards does use a feature of your Internet Web browser called a "cookie" to assign a unique identification to your computer.

Patent Awards does not and cannot use cookies to retrieve personal information about you from your computer. The only personal information we retrieve from you is information you provide when ordering from us or when submitting forms within our site.

Security

We understand that shopping online can feel risky and uncertain. Where does your information go? How can you be sure that someone out there with a computer can't intercept your credit card numbers? Because your credit card security is critical, we have taken steps to ensure that your payment is processed confidentially and accurately.
In fact, we use a company called PayPal to process credit card transactions. PayPal is one of the largest and most dependable online payment processing companies. They process hundreds of thousands of transactions per day. Of course, to be the best they utilize state of the art encryption and security techniques. Your credit card information goes directly to their secure server. Patent Awards never receives or has access to your credit card details.

Additionally, we use SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) technology to enable the secure entry of private information. This technology encrypts the information you send us so it cannot be read in transit. If you use either a Microsoft or Netscape Web browser, you will see a solid gold key or locked padlock displayed in the status bar. This assures you can place your order with safety and confidence.

Once your order has been validated, you will receive an e-mail confirming your order with an order number. Please use the order number if you need to contact us while we are crafting your products.

Even with these security measures in place, you may be more comfortable placing your order offline. Sometimes, there could be a technical problem that forces you to order offline.
